We are not a hospital therefore, we offer a much more discrete and personalized experience. From the moment you enter our Ambulatory Surgical Center, you will appreciate our cheery ambiance, comfortable waiting and recovery areas, and warm staff. Each of our patients is given access to a messaging application that allows you to send digitally secure messages, photos, and more to update us on your recovery. Dr. Ko is highly regarded by patients and colleagues for his dedication to excellence in the science and art of plastic surgery. Our team values the patient/physician relationship and Dr. Ko personally sees all of his patients for their post-operative visits. We also offer 7 locations throughout Massachusetts, which makes finding an office near you for pre and post-operative visits that much easier.

Meet Dr. Ko
Dr. Ko is highly qualified and experienced in the field of plastic surgery and aesthetic care. He has over 30 years of experience and has performed thousands surgical procedures. He completed his undergraduate studies at The Pennsylvania State University obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology. His Medical Degree is from Drexel University School of Medicine. He completed a rigorous 5 year General Surgery residency training program at The Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia. While at The Graduate Hospital he Served as Administrative Chief Resident in his final year and was named Best Teaching Resident 2 years in a row. This was followed by Plastic Surgery Residency at University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester.
Dr. Ko is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) Maintenance of Certification. He is also a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
Madi
Madi is the Skin MD Surgical Patient Coordinator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and is a licensed medical assistant. She comes to us with 6+ years of experience in the healthcare industry with a focus in plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures.
Michelle
Michelle is our Operating room Nurse, she holds a bachelor’s degree in both psychology and nursing. Michelle has been a nurse for over 13 years and specializes in plastic surgery and cosmetic injections. She loves helping people look and feel their best! When Michelle isn’t working at Skin MD, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and dog, Bella!
Crystal
Crystal is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received her Master of Nursing degree from Umass Lowell and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University. Her goal is to make people feel their best both inside and out.
Eva
Eva is a Surgical Physician Assistant with extensive operative experience in general surgery, urology, vascular and plastic surgery. Dr. Ko and Eva have operated together for four years both at Skin MD and in the hospital on a wide range of procedures.

Plastic Surgery
