Dr. Dock was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He attended high school at Detroit Country Day School in Birmingham, Michigan, and was a national merit scholar. Dr. Dock received a degree in biology and psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and earned a medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He then completed an internship in internal medicine at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan, and a dermatology residency at Wayne State University, where he served as chief resident in the department of dermatology.
Dr. Dock has presented papers at state and national dermatology conferences and published several journal articles. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
